On the road to the Junior Olympics

Running for U. S. Express Track Club, Isaiah M. Rankins, a freshman at the Lab School, advanced to the Regional USATF Competition held at Middle Tennessee State University in July. There he competed in the 800 and 1500 meter run, as well as the 4x400 meter relay where he won the silver medal. He advanced to the National Junior Olympics in Jacksonville, Florida where he completed in the 4 x 400 meter relay preliminaries. Congratulations on his stellar accomplishments in his first full season of running. He is looking forward to being a member of the Southern Lab Cross Country and Track Teams.
