My name is Kristina McKenzie-Hudson, and I am the Director of School Accountability at Southern University Laboratory School. As the Director of School Accountability at Southern University Laboratory School, I am charged with conducting and designing professional development for our teachers. I am also charged with ensuring that the curriculum that we offer at the lab is coherent, cohesive, and rigorous. Further, I am tasked with conducting observations of teachers and giving them constructive feedback on how to improve the instructional offering in the classroom. My biggest focus this year will be on data disaggregation and how we can use that to improve student achievement!
I was born in Slidell, Louisiana, and I was educated in St. Tammany Parish. I earned my B.A., M.A., and Ed.S from LSU, and I've been an educator for approximately eight years. I am excited about the upcoming school year and about working with our entire school community.
