SULAB Spring Break in the "Community"

SU Lab students made the most of their spring break by engaging in various activities in the community. SU lab students enjoyed the Baton Rouge Area Association of Black Journalists as guests of Attorney Preston Castille. Honorees included Mrs. Genevieve Grace, Pastor Ivory Payne, Mr. John williams, and SU Lab Alum Mrs. Jean West. Featured with honoree Mrs. King and then WAFB's Mrs. Michelle McCallope are Carldrick Slaughter, SGA Vice President; Taylor Harris, outstanding sophomore student; Zoe Giles, outstanding junior student; Kathryn Doss, Student of the Year; and Nicole Bartley, Ms. Southern High.
Other students joined the crowd of over 300 to show their support for the Southern University family at SU Day at the Capitol. Pictured here are Destiny Augustus, Ms. Jones, Jordain Duplechain, and SU Lab alum Dr. Brandon Dumas.
