The Kittens Fall but will RISE again!!

The Southern Lab Kittens were defeated by the Ouachita Christian Eagles Friday for the Division IV State Championship in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The Eagles were virtually unstoppable as they were determined to avenge the loss that ended their 35 game home winning streak at the hands of the Kittens last year. The Eagles had not lost at home in 5 years until being defeated by the Kittens.

The Kittens will lose only 5 seniors from this year's team as they will certainly be picked to compete for the title again next year with a host of returning starters.

I would like to thank all of the fans that took the trip to New Orleans to support the boys or watched the game on the Internet. We had a large turn out in the Superdome and the boys now know what it takes to get there.

I'm sure their mission for next season will be to WIN IT ALL!
